Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Turkey Sliders featuring Hawaiian rolls layered with tender deli turkey and Swiss cheese, topped with a buttery, flavorful glaze and baked to melty perfection. Perfect as an appetizer or a main dish for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

Sliders

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • ¾ pound thin-sliced deli turkey
  • ¾ pound thin-sliced Swiss cheese

Butter Glaze

  • ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tablespoon everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13-inch casserole dish with foil and spray the bottom with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Slice Rolls: Without pulling the rolls apart, slice them horizontally in half. Place the bottom halves evenly in the prepared casserole dish.
  3. Layer Fillings: Layer the thin-sliced deli turkey evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls, then add a layer of thin-sliced Swiss cheese on top of the turkey.
  4. Add Top Buns: Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese layer, aligning them to cover the sliders.
  5. Prepare Butter Glaze: Melt the unsalted butter either in the microwave or on the stovetop. Once melted, stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and everything bagel seasoning until combined.
  6. Brush and Soak: Brush the butter glaze generously over the tops of the rolls. Let the sliders sit for 5 minutes to soak up the buttery mixture.
  7. Bake: Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove the foil during the last 5 minutes to allow the tops to brown and the cheese to melt thoroughly.
  8. Serve: Remove from oven and serve warm. Ideal for serving as appetizers or a satisfying meal.

Notes

  • For appetizer portions, plan on 1-2 sliders per person; for a meal, serve 3 sliders per person.
  • Store leftover sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Sliders can be frozen for up to 3 months; reheat before serving.
  • You can substitute Swiss cheese with provolone or cheddar for a different flavor.
  • If you prefer spicy sliders, add a dash of hot sauce to the butter glaze.
