Ingredients
Scale
Base Ingredients
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 ¾ cups (468 g) white chocolate chips
- ⅛ tsp salt
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Add-ins
- 10 Oreos, chopped
- Additional broken Oreos for topping
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Line an 8 or 9 inch square baking dish with aluminum foil, ensuring the foil extends up the sides of the pan. Set aside.
- Combine Ingredients: In a microwave-safe glass bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and white chocolate chips. Stir gently with a spatula until well mixed.
- Microwave and Stir: Microwave the mixture on full power for 1 minute. Immediately stir the mixture until the chocolate chips are fully melted and smooth. Be careful not to microwave longer to avoid scorching or crumbly fudge.
- Add Oreos and Flavorings: Stir in the chopped Oreos, salt, and vanilla extract until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
- Set the Fudge: Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Press extra broken Oreos on top if desired.
- Chill and Cut: Allow the fudge to set at room temperature for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Once firm, lift the fudge from the pan using foil edges and cut into 25 squares.
- Store Properly: Store the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1-2 weeks.
Notes
- Do not microwave the mixture for longer than 1 minute to prevent chocolate from scorching and resulting in crumbly fudge.
- Using a spatula to stir gently helps ensure smooth texture and complete melting of the chocolate chips.
- Allowing fudge to set overnight will improve firmness and flavor.
- Add extra broken Oreos on top for a decorative and crunchy finish.
- Store fudge at room temperature in an airtight container to maintain freshness for 1-2 weeks.
- Line the pan with foil for easy removal of fudge squares without breaking.
